Mid-november update

A friend sent me a YM message earlier asking about how our preps are doing, in the middle of the conversation (as I was enumerating the to-dos), I started to panic. Kasi naman, less than 3 months to go (bawasan pa ng 2 weekends since I'll be in Davao for the holidays) and we still have several items to attend to.

So I thought of providing an update (again) to refresh my mind na rin on what still needs to be done...here goes:

CHURCH

• paid DP
• done with Canonical Interview, pre-cana tomorrow (11/18)
• got the wedding banns for posting in our respective parishes (already sent mine to Davao, we'll bring Albert's to their parish this weekend) -

SO FAR SO GOOD...

CATERER

• paid 50%
• menu and most of the details have been finalized
• need to meet up with Judith around Jan for final final details (re items we'll be taking off the package)

VENUE

• paid 50%
• need to ask them re availability of 2 extra mics for the program

ATTIRE

• paid dp
• measurements have been taken for Albert and I, MOG, 2 abay
• need to give tela to 1 abay
• first fitting on Dec 9
• sent tela to MOB - sa Davao daw si Mama magpapagawa
• need to buy FG sunday dresses
• need to buy barongs - 1 GM, and the little boys
• submit shoe design to Ysabelle

PHOTOGRAPHER

• paid dp
• done prenups pictorial

RINGS

• paid dp
• visit Suarez tomorrow to confirm fitting by Dec
• planned fitting - Dec 2

MUSICIANS

• paid dp
• need to submit song list by Nov27

FLOWERS

• need to book supplier - either go to Dangwa or pag nagahol sa oras, contact previous supplier who provided the quotation

INVITATIONS

• need to finalize the layout and text by next week

ACCOMMODATIONS

• paid dp, booked the rooms already

TRANSPORTATION

• flights are booked and paid except for Dvo-Mla flight for Papa, Mama, 2 aunts and cuz
• contacted van supplier, need to confirm by Dec

OTD COORDINATOR

• paid dp
• will meet with them 1 month before wedding to finalize details

EMCEE

• c/o caterer
• reception program has been set, meet with her 1 month before wedding

HAIR AND MAKE UP

• done trial HMU
• set the sked for Feb

SOUVENIRS

• done, c/o Mama
• need to buy chocolates, by end of Jan

MISALETTES

• for checking with priest

MARRIAGE LICENSE

• need to apply by 1st week of Dec - SKED LEAVE!!!

PRIEST

• for confirmation c/o Kuya Ba

Had our canonical interview last Tuesday. We thought talagang i-interview-hin kami...di naman. We were just asked to fill out forms/questionnaires. Kaso di naman ni-discuss sa amin baka during the Pre Cana tomorrow hehe...sana nga...
