Whew, it's been a while...almost a month actually :)

My Holy Week vacation starts tomorrow. We're going home to Marikina and spend the rest of the week there. It will be FIL's birthday on Saturday and MIL's naman on Monday. I had to start packing our stuff last night - actually, I just dictated what we needed to bring and A packed our stuff...the little boy was attached to me kasi hehe.

I still have to pack toys and books for the little boy...as well as his feeding paraphernalia AKA milk and bottles. Have to pack his vitamins and toothbrush/toothpaste too.

Speaking of the little boy, he has grown to be quite a chatterbox :) similar to a parrot although I don't get irritated listening to him over and over singing "a-pe-bet jungle" hehehe. That's Alphabet Jungle, in Ethan-speak. He has this DVD of several Sesame Street episodes with the Alphabet Jungle being one of his favorites - the other one is the Get Up and Dance which features mostly dancing and singing stuff.

Ethan gets bulol at times but you can easily get him to follow the correct pronunciation when you slowly speak the syllables to him. Examples of his funny words...

Me (passing by McDo): What's that?
Ethan: Bakdo *LOL*
Me: What do we usually buy from McDo?
Ethan: French fries
Me: What else?
Ethan: Ice cream
Me: And...
Ethan: Hamgeger

Ethan (while letting a ball roll): Oops sorry
A picks up the ball and gives it to Ethan
Ethan: Thanks!
or a variation
Ethan: Thank you sir *LOL*

Ethan singing the alphabet song:
Now I know...ABC
NEXT TIME akdjgkdsjgkl ME

In Tito Doc's (his pedia) clinic:
Lady Medrep: How old are you?
Ethan: *silence*
Me and Lola: Two years old po
Me: O Ethan, how old are you daw?
Ethan: Four!

Until now, he still says he's four years old :P

He also knows some words of his favorite nursery rhymes or songs, example

Me: Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the...
Ethan: Fiddle
Me: The cow jumped over the...
Ethan: Moon
Me: The little...
Ethan: Dog
Me: Laughed to see such fun, and the dish ran away with the...
Ethan: Spoon!

And he is smiling eagerly, awaiting his parts when we sing that song. Or that song from The Lion King...

Me: I wanna be a mighty king so enemies beware. Well, I've never seen a king of beasts with quite so little...
Ethan: Hair
Me: I'm gonna be the mane event like no king was before. I'm pushing up on looking down, I'm working on my...
Ethan: ROAR!
Me: Thus far a rather uninspiring thing. Oh I just can't wait to be...
Ethan: King
Me: No one saying...
Ethan: DO THIS
Me: No one saying be there. No one saying...
Me: No one saying...
Me: Free to run around all day, free to do it all my way...

Ooohhh, I just love singing and dancing with Ethan :) Seeing his big smile, it's something really very special and something I hold very dearly.

Looking forward to more songs and dances with you, Ethan! :)

On a different note, construction of our house in Sta. Rosa Hills is now underway. We visited the site yesterday and they have already outlined the structure of the house. Wow, we're really excited about it!
